Directions to the Watkins Glen Community Center

From Ithaca
Take Route 79 W into Watkins Glen.
The Community Center* will be on the left at the bottom of the hill as you enter the town (across from Clute Park).

From Elmira/Corning
Take Route 14 N into Watkins Glen.
Turn right onto Fourth Street.
The Community Center* will be a few blocks down on the right (across from Clute Park).

From Bath/Rochester/Buffalo
Take Route 17E to Exit 40 (Savona).
Take a left onto Route 226 N.
Take a right onto County Route 23.
Follow Route 23 to the end (about 10 miles).
Take a left onto 409 E.
Go straight through intersection (will turn into Fourth Street).
The Community Center* will be a few blocks down on the right (across from Clute Park).

From the New York Shelter
Take a right out of the Farm Sanctuary driveway onto Aikens Road.
Follow Aikens Road to the end and take a right onto Route 23.
Follow Route 23 to the end and take a left onto Route 409.
Route 409 will turn into Fourth St. (Go straight through the first traffic light).
The Community Center* will be a few blocks down on the right (across from Clute Park).

*The Community Center is on Fourth Street in Watkins Glen (across from Clute Park).
The entrance is the same as the entrance to the campground.
After you enter, continue through the park to the Community Center.

Directions to the New York Farm

Farm Sanctuary's New York facility is located just west of Watkins Glen in the Finger Lakes region of New York. The farm is one and a half hours southeast of Rochester and half an hour north of Elmira.

From the Watkins Glen Community Center
Take a left out of the Community Center parking lot onto Fourth Street.
Follow Fourth Street through the intersection and up the hill (will turn into Route 409 W). Turn right onto Route 23/28. Stay on 23 as it branches off to the left. Continue on Route 23 for 8 miles, then turn left onto Aikens Road. Follow Aikens Road for two miles until you see the Farm Sanctuary Visitor Center on the left. Look for Farm Sanctuary signs along the way.

*From Watkins Glen
From Route 14/Franklin Street, head West on Fourth Street/Route 409. Turn right onto Route 23/28. Stay on Route 23 as it branches off to the left (one mile). Continue on Route 23 for eight miles and then turn left onto Aikens Road. Follow Aikens Road for two miles until you see the Farm Sanctuary Visitor Center on the left. Look for Farm Sanctuary signs along the way.

From Bath
17E (86) to Exit 40 Savona Left on Route 226 North Right on County Route 23 Right on Aikens Road two miles to Visitors Center.

From Rochester/Buffalo
390 S to 17E (86) Savona Exit 40 Left on Route 226 North Right on Route 23 Right on Aikens Road two miles to Visitors Center.

From Thruway 90
Geneva Exit 42 Route 14 South to Watkins Glen*.

From Ithaca
Route 79 West to Watkins Glen*.

Route 17 (86) West Elmira Exit 52 to 14 North to Watkins Glen*.

Directions to the California Farm

Farm Sanctuary's California facility is located just west of Orland, California. The farm is about an hour and a half north of Sacramento and approximately 45 minutes west of Chico.

From Interstate 5, take the Orland exit marked Chico/Rt. 32 (Exit #619). Turn west off the freeway. You'll be on Newville Rd. (aka Rd. 200), heading west. Travel approximately ten miles and you'll see Farm Sanctuary on the right at 19080 Newville Road. There is a large Farm Sanctuary entranceway sign at the road, and a cluster of brown barns. The "People Barn," where event registration is held, will be the first building on the left as you come up the driveway.
